一、本篇资料反映广州市交通运输业、邮电通信业发展的基本状况。交通运输业资料主要包括：五种运输方式的线路里程、运输设备拥有量、各种运输方式完成的货物运输量和旅客运输量、港口设备拥有量、港口货物吞吐量等。
邮电通信业资料主要包括：邮电业务量、邮电通信工具、邮电通信网、邮电通信水平等。
二、本篇资料由广州市统计局服务业统计处整理提供。
三、本篇资料分别来源于民航、铁路、公路、水运、港口、公安、邮电等部门。管道运输资料由有关管道运输企业提供。

Brief Introduction
I.This data in this chapter reflects the basic situation of the development of Guangzhou's transportation industry, post and telecommunication industry. The data on transport cover mainly the length of the routes of five means of transportation, the owner-ship of the transport equipment, the freight traffic and passenger traffic accomplished by various means of transportation, the ownership of the port equipment and the cargo handled at ports, etc. The data on posts and telecomm-unications cover mainly the postal and telecommunication services, means of post and telecommunications, network of post and telecommunications, main financial of indicators of postal and telecommunication enterprises and the level of the development of the postal and telecommunication services, etc.
II.The data in this chapter are prepared and provided by the Division of Service Industries Statistics of Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Statistics.
III.The data in this chapter come respectively from Guangzhou municipal departments of railways, transportation, post and telecommunications, etc. The data on the pipeline transport are provided by related pipeline enterprises.
